How We Check Listings

What every remote job on TrueJobs goes through before it's published, and what happens after.

1. Approved Sources Only

Listings come from employers' own job boards. We only use an employer's job board after confirming that the employer's own careers page publishes it. We don't copy listings from other job sites.

2. Remote Only, With Clear Eligibility

We only publish roles listed as fully remote; anything hybrid or office-based is left out. We record which countries the employer accepts applicants from, and which it excludes. A role is shown as open to a country only when the posting clearly says so; if we can't tell, the role isn't published under that country.

3. Automated Safety Checks

The application link must be a secure (https) address on a normal web domain and must lead to the employer, its applicant-tracking system, or the credited job board. We screen for warning signs such as application or training fees, deposits, messaging-app-only contact and implausible pay. Government-exam notices are outside our scope.

4. Human Review Before Publishing

Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We never override a decision our team has made on a listing.

Keeping Listings Current

We re-read our sources every few hours and take listings down when the source confirms they have closed. When the employer's or job board's own system says a role has closed, we mark it closed. A single error on a job site never takes a listing down on its own.

Employers fill and close roles at any time, and a listing can occasionally go out of date before we catch it. If a link no longer works, a role turns out not to be remote, or anything looks suspicious, please report it and we'll take it down if needed.

Never Pay to Apply

Legitimate employers don't charge application, training, or equipment fees, and don't run interviews over Telegram or WhatsApp. Any listing that asks for money is removed.

For Employers
