The SSC CPO 2026 Salary is among the highest for SSC examinations. Sub-Inspectors are placed at Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 basic) and ASIs at Level 5 (₹29,200 basic), with additional allowances specific to police and paramilitary service.
SI Salary (Delhi Police & CAPF)
Basic pay ₹35,400. With DA, HRA, transport allowance, and ration money, gross salary is ₹50,000-₹60,000. CAPF SIs additionally receive risk and hardship allowance (₹6,500-₹25,000 depending on area classification), field area allowance, and free accommodation in force quarters.
ASI Salary (CISF)
Basic pay ₹29,200 (Level 5). Gross salary ₹42,000-₹50,000 with allowances. CISF provides posting at airports, metro stations, government installations — often urban postings.
Career Progression
