Role & Responsibilities

The selected Assistant Engineer (Civil) will be instrumental in overseeing and managing various civil engineering projects and maintenance activities within the institute. Key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and supervising ongoing civil works, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
• Preparation of detailed estimates, bills, and measurement books for various construction and maintenance projects.
• Assisting in the tendering process, including drafting tender documents, evaluating bids, and ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines.
• Planning and scheduling of civil engineering activities to optimize resource utilization and project delivery.
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Utilizing CAD and other relevant civil engineering software for design, drafting, and project management tasks.
• Collaborating with various departments and contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Reporting on project progress and addressing any technical issues that may arise.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Assistant Engineer (Civil) position:

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a First Class B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. Alternatively, candidates with a First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering with an excellent academic record are also eligible to apply.
