Role & Responsibilities

The Sr. Scientist - cum-Head at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (PIRENS) is a pivotal leadership position. Key responsibilities include leading a team of scientists and technical staff, designing and implementing on-farm trials, front-line demonstrations, and various training programs for farmers and rural youth. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences, which includes relevant basic sciences from a recognized university or institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in the relevant subject is mandatory. This experience should be gained as a Scientist, Lecturer, Extension Specialist, or in an equivalent position within a recognized institution or organization.
• Age Limit: The maximum age limit for applicants is 47 years as on the closing date of the application. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government of India norms.
