Role & Responsibilities

The Sanitation Officer at AIIMS Guwahati will be responsible for overseeing and managing all sanitation and hygiene-related activities within the institute premises. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, supervising, and implementing sanitation programs across hospital wards, OPDs, laboratories, and administrative blocks.
• Ensuring compliance with biomedical waste management rules and infection control protocols.
• Coordinating with housekeeping and facility management teams to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Monitoring the performance of sanitation staff and contract workers deployed for cleaning duties.
• Conducting regular inspections of sanitation facilities including toilets, drainage systems, and waste disposal units.
• Preparing reports on sanitation activities and recommending improvements to the administration.
• Ensuring adherence to Central Government health and sanitation guidelines and NABH standards.

Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process
