Role & Responsibilities
NHSRC is recruiting one Consultant (Lab) to work under the National Viral Hepatitis Control Program (NVHCP) on a contractual basis. The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Provide technical support for laboratory strengthening activities under the NVHCP.
- Coordinate with state and district-level health authorities to ensure quality laboratory services for Hepatitis B and C diagnosis and treatment.
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory operations.
- Monitor laboratory performance indicators and assist in quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Facilitate training and capacity building of laboratory personnel at various levels.
- Assist in procurement planning and supply chain management of laboratory reagents and consumables.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation related to laboratory activities under NVHCP.
- Liaise with national and international stakeholders, including WHO and other partner organizations, on laboratory-related matters.
