Eligibility Criteria

The HPRCA notification specifies a combination of academic qualification, professional coaching credentials and demonstrated playing experience in the concerned sport. Candidates must satisfy all of the following conditions on the cut-off date prescribed by HPRCA.

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• One-year Diploma in Coaching from the National Institute of Sports (NIS) in the concerned sport, OR a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching from a recognized State Sports University in the concerned sport.
• Participation at University / State / National / International level championship in the concerned sport.
• Matriculation and 10+2 from an institution situated in Himachal Pradesh — except Bonafide Himachalis, who are exempted from this clause.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age, with the age reckoned as on 01 January 2026.
