Role & Responsibilities

As a Radiographer within the Health & Family Welfare Department, you will be at the forefront of diagnostic imaging services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for the Radiographer position must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed Sr. Secondary (10+2) examination with Science stream from a recognized board or university.
• Additionally, candidates must possess one of the following professional qualifications:
  • A Certificate (02 years course) in Radiography from a recognized institute.
  • A Diploma (02 years course) in Radiography from a recognized institute.
  • A B.Sc. (Radiography) degree from a recognized institute.
  • A qualification in Radiological Technology (02 years) from a recognized institute.
• Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 27 years of age.
• Age Relaxation: Significant age relaxation is provided for contractual employees, who may be eligible to apply up to 60 years of age, as per the H&FW Department OM dated 11.10.2020. This is a major advantage for experienced professionals already serving the department.
• Experience: No prior experience is required for this direct recruitment, making it an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates.

Selection Process

The selection for the Radiographer posts will be based on a direct recruitment process, which typically involves:

• Written Examination: A competitive written examination will be conducted to assess candidates' knowledge in relevant subjects, including General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and specific technical knowledge related to Radiography.

Salary & Benefits
