The upper age limit for Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C) is 33 years for UR category. For Technical Officer on Contract (TO-C), Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE-C), and Senior Artisan on Contract (SA-C), the upper age limit is 30 years for UR category.

Age relaxation is provided for specific categories: OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 years relaxation over UR upper age limit. PwBD candidates with minimum 40% disability get 10 years additional relaxation over the relaxation applicable to their category. J&K Domicile (01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989) candidates get 5 years relaxation over UR upper age limit. The cut-off date for age calculation is the date of selection (respective walk-in date for each zone).
