Role & Responsibilities

Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. is inviting applications from experienced professionals for a Full-time Retainership position within its Strategic Business Unit (SBU): Logistics Services, based in Kolkata. The selected professional will be expected to:

• Provide strategic and operational guidance to the Logistics Services SBU based on extensive corporate and domain experience.
• Support business development, client relationship management, and operational efficiency initiatives within the logistics vertical.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion strategies in the logistics domain.
• Contribute to process improvement, cost optimization, and implementation of best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
• Mentor and guide internal teams with domain expertise and industry knowledge.
• Liaise with key stakeholders, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and strategic documents as required by senior management.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. Additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration will be an advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 25 years of overall experience in a corporate environment is mandatory.
