Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture (with Agronomy as subject), Agricultural Chemistry, Soil Science, Agricultural Extension, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Botany, Botany, or Forestry from a recognized university. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering is also acceptable.

Experience Requirements: Three years of experience in soil and water conservation, soil health management, rainfed/integrated farming, soil survey, problem soil reclamation, and project formulation including agroforestry projects. Experience must be with Central/State Government, UT Administration, recognized research institutions, agricultural universities, PSUs, semi-government, autonomous, or statutory organizations.

Eligible Officers: Officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis OR officers with two years of service in Level-8 (₹47,600-₹1,51,100) of the Pay Matrix.

Salary & Benefits

The selected candidate will be placed in Pay Level-10 (₹56,100-₹1,77,500) of the 7th Pay Commission. Government employees are entitled to additional benefits including:
