Age Limit

Salary

Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)/written screening test of 120 marks, of 1½ hours (one and a half hours) duration, or as decided by the Aayog. The test consists of 120 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark, covering: General Knowledge (including HP General Knowledge and Current Affairs); Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English and General Hindi of Matric Standard; and Word Processing on computer.
2. Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for General category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC/Wards of Freedom Fighters — relaxable by up to 5% (to 40% for General and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF) if sufficient candidates are not available.
3. Typing skill test: Shortlisted candidates (based on CBT/screening test merit) must appear for a prescribed typing skill test, which is qualifying in nature.
4. Score normalization: In multi-shift CBT exams, scores are normalized using the Z-Score (Mean and Standard Deviation) Method.
5. Document verification: Final selection is followed by document verification of shortlisted candidates.
