Skill Test

Selection for these posts follows a multi-stage process combining a physical efficiency test, a written exam, and (for driver posts) a trade test. Application scrutiny: Only candidates meeting all eligibility conditions are permitted to the physical efficiency test stage. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - completed: Conducted by the department for the 7 non-Station-Officer posts, out of 100 marks; General category candidates required a minimum of 50 marks, SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of 40 marks. Events included 100m Race, Long Jump, Shot Put, and Pull-ups/Beam-bar (25 marks each). Candidates who qualified were forwarded to CGSSB for the written exam stage. Written Exam (NSSK26) - current stage: 100 objective-type questions of 1 mark each, General Knowledge and Logical/Analytical Reasoning, 2-hour duration, no negative marking.
